About DC Ministries

Many people want to communicate with God and have their prayers heard, but they do not know how.

At DC Ministries, our tools, courses, books, and community support will help you communicate more effectively with God.

DC Ministries is a nonprofit church organization dedicated to the preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ and community development. We believe in delivering the Word of God and interacting with our members with genuine caring and empathy. We help our members get closer to God and Jesus and feel His love to get their prayers heard.

We offer 1-on-1 personal time between our leaders and our members to help them engage with God more effectively.

Our Mission

DC Ministries has a God given appointment to seek and save that which is lost. We have been charged with preaching the gospel to the poor, setting the captive free, restoring liberty to the oppressed, and healing the sick and brokenhearted [Luke 4:18].

With the prayers and support of or friends and partners worldwide, we will fulfill the vision set by our leader Dr. Darrell D. Cummings.

Our ultimate vision is to:

  • Establish churches and strengthen ministries all over the nation.
  • Host several annual conferences nationwide
  • Conduct workshops for both Pastoral leadership and Governmental leaders.

We are committed to mentoring and developing every believer regardless of their denomination or position.

It is our Godly mandate to help leaders become leaders, help pastors become pastors, and to see every believer walk in the fullness of their God-given potential, so that they are lacking nothing!

The Prayer College

The prayer college is an online institution teaching and empowering students on the subject of prayer. Communicate with God more effectively and get you prayers and answered. Pastor Darrell D. Cummings’ methods and instructions can make your prayers heard and lead to real, sustainable results.

These courses are $120.00 and exist entirely to help you improve your relationship with God.

Pastor Darrell Cummings

A native of Washington, D.C., Dr. Darrell D. Cummings received Jesus as Lord and Savior at the age of 6. At 13, he was called to ministry.

He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology, a Master’s in Divinity, a Doctorate in Humanities as well as Religious Philosophy. He is the youngest recipient of the Doctorate of Humane Letters. Dr. Darrell D. Cummings is the founder and Overseer of Maranatha Ministries International in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Part of his ministry is conducting conferences and workshops around the United States, to equip and empower the saints to move into their prophetic callings and giftings.

Dr. Darrell D. Cummings has been blessed to minister nationally and is known as a true Prophet of God. He flows in the gifts of the Spirit such as the word of wisdom, word of knowledge, prophecy, and gifts of healing.

He also serves as a mentor to many pastors and ministers around the globe. He believes every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God and the Holy Scriptures.

He is also a very proud father of 8 children.

His desire is to see every believer walk in the fullness of their God-given potential, and lack in nothing!
